Vikki Locke joins C2 Communications as Vice President of Media Relations
Naples – C2 Communications, an award-winning public relations, community outreach, and marketing agency, is pleased to welcome Vikki Locke as Vice President of Media Relations.
Locke joins the team after a lengthy career as a popular Atlanta morning radio host and media relations consultant. A graduate from The Ohio State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Vikki has interviewed presidents and other world leaders, musicians, movie and television stars, and sports celebrities. She was inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame in 2009 and was nominated twice for a Marconi Award, the highest achievement in radio broadcasting.
Locke believes strongly in the community and giving back and helped raise millions of dollars for non-profits and charitable organizations including Children’s Health Care of Atlanta, The Elton John Aids Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Komen Atlanta, and Wellspring Living. She has served on several boards, including Komen and True Colors Theatre with Tony and Emmy award-winning director Kenny Leon. Her efforts to educate the public concerning sex trafficking during Super Bowl LIII led to front-page coverage on USA Today as well as segments on all national news outlets. With the help of her friend television host Nancy Grace, Vikki organized a fundraising event and awarded six scholarships to women re-entering the workforce after being victims of domestic violence.
“Vikki brings a wealth of experience in media relations, national-level relationships, and more importantly, the passion to deliver measurable results for C2 Communications’ clients,” said Cyndee Woolley, president and founder of C2 Communications. “We’re excited to have her on the team.”
