Vineyards Country Club names J.P. Leland Head Golf Professional
Vineyards Country Club announced the appointment of J.P. Leland to the position of Head Golf Professional.
A PGA of America Class-A Member since 2009, Leland most recently served as Head Golf Professional at Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples. A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Leland is a graduate of Ferris State University’s Professional Golf Management program. His experience includes positions of increasing leadership in golf destinations throughout the United States, including Beaver Creek Golf Club in Colorado, The Country Club of Loch Lloyd in Kansas City, St. Ives Golf Club in Michigan, Wyndemere Country Club and Naples Grande Golf Club.
“We are pleased to welcome J.P. to our team,” said Vineyards Country Club Chief Operating Officer Paul Malonson. “His extensive understanding of golf operations and dedication to the member experience make him a great addition to our team. We’re excited to see him apply his expertise to enhance our golf program.”
Leland will work directly with Vineyards Country Club’s Tom Metzger, Director of Golf and member of the PGA Hall of Fame.
