Whispering Lakes celebrates completion of new community amenities

Centex will celebrate the grand opening of the amenities at Whispering Lakes, a new gated community in Lehigh Acres offering affordable, low-maintenance homes on March 7. The event, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., features live music, games, giveaways, shaved ice treats and tours of Centex’s two beautifully decorated model homes. The grand opening also showcases Whispering Lakes’ relaxed lifestyle with a community pool and cabana building.

“Guests will easily imagine their lives in the community, from the amenities to how our models live,” said Christina Jonsson, director of marketing for PulteGroup Southwest Florida Division. “Our homes are designed for today’s lifestyles with open-concept floor plans, ample bedrooms and features for growing families, first-time homebuyers and seasonal residents.”

Located across from Lehigh Acres’ new Amanecer Elementary and Lehigh Acres Middle schools on Sunrise Boulevard, Whispering Lakes features 290 homes on 80 acres with three large lakes. Centex offers 145 homesites and a collection of eight single-family home designs suited for those looking for modern style, quality, convenience and no community development district fees.

Floor plans span from 1,447 to nearly 2,900 square feet under air across one and two stories and provide three to five bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms and two-car garages. The designs also offer flexible options for personalization. Homes start from the high $200s.

The two models highlight Centex’s consumer-inspired floor plans, smart use of space, stylish finishes and flexible living areas for a variety of lifestyles. To meet growing demand, Centex is also fast-tracking delivery of quick move-in homes with designer-selected features, allowing for shorter timelines and smoother closings. Several move-in-ready homes are available with up to $35,685 in limited-time savings.

The light-filled Browning, a single-story model, offers three bedrooms, two baths and 1,447 bright, open and airy square feet.
