Wilderness Country Club Names Illenberg as Food and Beverage Manager
Wilderness Country Club has appointed Robbie Illenberg as its new Food and Beverage Manager. In this role, he is responsible for directing all country club food and beverage operations, including developing innovative ideas and budgeting.
Illenberg has more than a decade of hospitality industry experience with country clubs in both Southwest Florida and New York. Born and raised in Middletown, N.Y., he launched his career as a server in 2013. Eventually, he took on several different positions at various clubs, continuing on his journey of accomplishing higher management goals.
Most recently, Illenberg was Assistant Food and Beverage Director at The Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel Island. He is a member of the Club Management Association of America and is actively pursuing his credits to become a Certified Club Manager (CCM).
