Wonder Gardens announces promotions of Jessica White and Kaitlyn Henry

Wonder Gardens has announced the promotions of two leadership team members, Jessica White and Kaitlyn Henry.

White has been promoted to director of business operations. In addition to overseeing the retail, events, operations and finance departments, she will now also lead the organization’s development and marketing departments.

White joined the Wonder Gardens team in April 2021 as a part-time guest services associate in the gift shop. Over the past five years, she has grown within the organization, serving in a variety of roles before earning her new title as director.

Henry has been promoted to director of living collections & conservation. In her new role, she will continue overseeing both the animal and horticulture collections, in addition to the education, volunteer and intern departments.

Henry joined the Wonder Gardens team in June 2021 as the curator of collections & exhibits, overseeing both the animal and horticulture collections. In 2022, she was promoted to director of living collections to help guide the organization’s efforts toward AZA accreditation.

“Jessica and Kaitlyn are both vital members of our leadership team, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they’ve contributed to Wonder Gardens since joining the organization,” said Dr. Wendy Arsenault, chair of the Wonder Gardens board of directors. “We are excited to continue watching their growth and leadership as they uphold the highest standards of animal and horticulture welfare.”
